The editors of the magazin "Tourenfahrer" wanted to know what Enduro-boots for the four-way-race on the ground, in water, on the road or to walk with are most suitable. The Trans Open GTX® from daytona got an recommendation. Conclusion of the testers: "The large reinforcements give always good protection without ever disturbing the fit. Although the boots ankle joints and supports very well, but the running and ride comfort is still perfect. Despite the relatively low tread depth is the sole right grip. The daytona is a thoroughly successful mixture with a high protection factor."

The magazine „enduro abenteuer“ showed in first march 2004 edition that feet and legs are specially endangered driving through open country. 16 boots were examined for lessen dangers. Quality for an adequate price

Since about 4 years and 70.000 km I've my daytona Trans Open GTX on the legs and with the Boots I've had never any problems even on the rainiest tour (at two times in Norway - one time there were 4 days full off massive rain). Last year I've let renew the (total thin) soles at your place and also the laminations on the forefront of the boots. Both for a really good price, the boots arrived at my place like new ones (I've never cleaned them by myself so nice). I believe that in the next few years the Trans Open will be a truth companion in every weather condition, who guaranty me security and satisfaction (you can see a picture from my last holiday in norway in 2006). I do hope that daytona goes on with qualitiy products for fair prices and not do less prices for less quality, cause quality stayes on!
