WHAT TRADE PRESS WRITES: 41. Award for daytona® The editorial staff from the magazine "Motorradfahrer" tested boots on their winter-capability. The Traveller GTX from daytona® was the only boot who got an commendation. The testers adjudicate: "A great and very good boot for winter with high wearing comfort. And also points for the insulation against loss of heat for the best smoothest temperature pattern."
Traveller GTX recommended after "four-season test" The "Reise Motorrad Ride on" magazine has subjected the Traveller GTX to a twelve-month "four-season test" and was really impressed. Conclusion: "With its complete outfit, the Traveller GTX belongs to the best touring boots we could ever test. Its safety package is perfect, and its fit, mainly in the problem zone of the upper leg, can, to a high degree, be matched to individual needs. Although the footbed could, in our opinion, give somewhat more support, its climate-regulating properties mainly in combination with corresponding socks ensure real, long-lasting convenience, even on long tours. Rather slim and perfectly finished, the Traveller GTX will very soon become an appreciated companion in your everyday life and on tours."
"Tourenfahrer" recommendation for the Traveller GTX The "Tourenfahrer" testers wanted to know which boots keeps you dry in winter. During the tests rain and spume were simulated. The boots were weighed before and after the tests to determine the absorption of water. Some models came off badly but not the Traveller GTX from daytona®. The testers´ result: „With the Traveller GTX daytona again sets the standard for comfort and security. The instep is easy and comfortable with zippers pulled down very far.
